Welcome to Ona’s Summer fashion Haul.
It’s been a stressful couple of months planning outfits for my partypacked summer. My summer commences with 4 days in Ibiza for my 21st, then to Cocoon in the Park, then to Tomorrowland, then to Anjunadeep and I end the madness in Straf Werk. As if the pre-party anxiety isn’t enough I need to have TOP outfits which is PRESSURE. I may not even need all these outfits as there’s a chance I may not make it through my 21st in Biza…
I’m a saddo but I literally don’t feel there’s any point in attending festivals without having a mad outfit. You may as well just stay at ‘ome in your shit t-shirt and shorts mate.
I’m selflessly giving you an insight into my summer wardrobe which is obviously not completed yet. Throughout June and July I will likely triple my current pile of amazing bits.
Firstly I’d like to introduce you to ELSIE & FRED Renegade collection for “DEVILS, DEVIANTS AND DELINQUENTS”. Sound’s like a collection just for MOI.
The first of my 2 recent purchases from Elsie & Fred is this amazing bright velvet co-ord. There ain’t a chance I’d have attempted to rock this, with so much skin out last year but yano what FK it. I may style it with fishnets and chunky black sandals but I may go extra FK it and leave the fishnets at home. It’s a dead simple piece but it means business so it’s made my cut.
The 2 piece is 32 quid but you can get 10% off your first order when you sign up on their website. Link to buy here.
Secondly from the same collection I got this absolutely AMAZING mesh jumpsuit. I mean there’s no way I could have scrolled past this. It’s light, it’s comfy, it’s a statement and it’s totally unique to any jumpsuit I’ve seen about. I’d style it with my black high-top converse or black chunky Dr Marten sandals again. Definately want to see loads of body chains and chunky jewellery with this too.
This one is 38 quid which I think is more than acceptable for a 1 piece. You can buy here.
Moving on to Nasty Gal a brand I’ve more recently been ordering A LOT from. They have some really CHEAP and nice going out and festival type pieces. To go with the extremely see through purple one piece from Elsie & Fred I got this dead cheap little co-ord from Nasty Gal. I highly recommend this as an addition to your wardrobe to mix and match with transparent garms.
I got it for like a tenner with 25% off promos that were running. It’s still available here.
I’m seeing shit loads of rainbow stripes and mesh everywhere in other collections, but nothing like the below top from Nasty Gal. I like how cropped this is so you can see a bralette underneath and style it a bit diff.
You’ll understand another reason why I just had to get it was that it was only 10 flippin quid. With the 20% off that they had on at the time of purchasing, it was a complete steal. You can buy here.
This crochet dress also makes me super happy. I think it’ll look fab brought together with a belt and some chunky sandals.
Tis a bit more expensive than my other bargains but it’s totes worth it for about 30 quid. You can buy it here.
And again from Nasty Gal I got the ultimate sequin dress. I’m in love with this low key rainbow, sequin beauty. I love how it’s a pastel coloured rainbow and the straps make it super diff to a standard cami dress.
This one was 30 quid but again I got it with 30% off this one so I was laughing. A mint dress like that for 21 quid? I’ll take 2. You can buy here.
I always struggle for bags when I’m at events/holiday/festivals cause you only want a protector for your phone, cash n vaseline really lol. Side bags get annoying cause in the mad grooving they and up whacking you or others and are just a PAIN. The most sensible bag is literally the fanny pack. But I can’t settle for boring ones and the below one really caught my eye.
You can buy here for only 18 quid.
For Tomorrowland I just had to get this mental butterfly kimono from ASOS. I wish I lived at a festival and I could just live in stuff like this…
For only 18 quid I definitely couldn’t resist! You can buy here.
And of course ASOS just has a bit of everything ya need. I feel like a summer wardrobe must have it’s pair of fishnets. With denim shorts etc. they’re a winner to funk up a fairly basic outfit. If you’re a bit pale they’re a good distraction from that too lol.
They’re only 6 quid on ASOS, you can buy here.
I got a very basic black maxi, mesh wrap skirt just for general day chilling / boat parties etc. in Ibiza. I think I’m going to cut the pink tassels as they clash with my bikinis etc. I think this is just a standard piece that’s almost a necessity for girls for a holiday.
Another thing that encouraged me to purchase was the fact that it’s only a tenner. You can buy here.
But saving the best until last from my ASOS order, check out this floral co-ord masterpiece!! This is just as amazing in the flesh as it looks on the model. It’s funky as fuck I’m in love with it.
I’m also obsessed with eBay and Depop at the moment for random bits, both second hand and brand new. I got lucky on eBay last week with my purchase of some brand new Dr Martens Sandals. I’m head over heels for these chunky beauties. I got them for 60 and they’re still online for 85 brand new – so I’m a happy gal.
I got 2 magical belts to spruce up denim shorts and wee dresses from Depop. The online shop I bought both from is @oydshop. They were originally listed at 9 each but I bought both for 16! It’s always worth making offers and buying multiple guys!!
I fuckin love the rainbow one especially! I’ve styled this like Off-White except funkier and 1000x cheaper lol.
Talkin’ of rainbows I got the funkiest co-ord from Boohoo. One of my least loved shopping destinations due to the quality more than anything else. Everything is usually pretty shit material but this cheap outfit is worth every little penny.
They aren’t a set co-ord, I’ve matched them together. I love the rainbow cycling shorts they’re just so easy and comfy!! And OMG the top, how CUTE! Link to shorts here and link to top here. 8 quid each? Definition of bargain.
That’s all for now but there’s definitely more to come. Hold tight.
